Yemen
Coffee lovers must know that coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia, Africa, but it was in Yemen that coffee really flourished. Around the beginning of the 17th century, Yemen's Mocha Port was a prosperous trading port, through which coffee was shipped to Europe, and caused a craze in Europe, which also made "Mocha Coffee" famous. Yemeni coffee is often spicy, fermented fruit and complex.
Although the earliest "mocha coffee" refers to the coffee exported from Mocha Port in Yemen, the mocha coffee referred to today represents one of the Italian flavored coffee, which is made by adding bitter cocoa to the coffee and then fusing with milk. This bitter flavored coffee is similar to the "mocha" coffee exported from Yemen, so it is also named mocha coffee.
