Faema MARTE (Mars) this is the first commercial pull machine in my life, so I love the series of pull machines and I will share them from this machine.

FAEMA is a coffee machine company founded by Carlo Ernesto Valente (1913-1997) in Milan, Italy in 1945. The company's full name is Fabbrica Apparecchiature Elettromeccaniche e Affini,FAEMA. In the early days, it did not produce coffee machines, but produced household appliances such as heating furnaces, train car parts and perming machines.

In 1947, a revolutionary year for the Italian coffee machine, coffee shop owner Achille Gaggia (1895-1961) founded GAGGIA in Milan. He used his patent with Signore Cremonesi (group's use of Piston) to launch the world's first Espresso coffee machine in 1948. The pressure generated by the Espresso coffee machine is strong and stable, and it has better coffee quality and convenience than the traditional steam pressure coffee machine. However, at that time, Gaggia did not have his own factory to produce coffee machine kits, so he turned to Valente for cooperation, and FAEMA began to help GAGGIA produce related components for the Lapa machine. It wasn't until 1950 that GAGGIA and FAEMA parted ways and became competitors after FAEMA launched its own series of planetary pull machines. But FAEMA still produced parts for GAGGIA until GAGGIA set up a plant in 1952.

FAEMA launched a series of planets in the 1950s, including Saturno (Saturn), Nettuno (Neptune), Venere (Venus), Marte (Mars), Mecurio (Mercury) and Urania (Uranus). Among them, Saturno, Nettuno and Venere are pioneer products in the initial stage, which are very rare. Because of the convenience and better coffee quality brought to the coffee shop by these pioneer products, the more mature and stable models such as Marte, Mecurio and Urania became the main products led by FAEMA in the 1950s.

The early Group was very elegant.

Compared with the modern PUMP machine, the Laba with variable voltage characteristics not only has a beautiful and exquisite shape, but also the extracted Espresso is more gentle and smooth.

(photo temperament girl is not my daughter, she is the female owner of Penghu and Lin Chun Cafe. I hope my daughter will grow up with such temperament)

No matter how busy you are, you have to pull a cup of coffee.
