Lake Atitlan ultra-high altitude batch of Lake Attilan, Guatemala is a small farmer batch, which has been introduced before, with delicate flower fragrance, elegant sour and sweet feeling loved by many friends, the brief introduction is as follows:

The boutique of volcanic lakes: wine red Katura!

This wine red Catura is not ripe because it is in the cold 1900 Mt. Michael. 1950 lot is an exclusive small farm developed by Osher. 1950 is her average altitude. When she first walked into the coffee garden four years ago, the watch altimeter showed 1900 meters. There was only a small amount of Caturra (Kaddura species) here. The farm consultant who assisted us was very expert. With my request, please pick workers and other "wine red" before picking. Therefore, we call the coffee here "1950 wine red Kaddura", and the harvest quantity is less than 20 bags a year.

To the south of Lake Attilan are three famous volcanoes, all more than 3000 meters, the westernmost is San Pedro Volcano, and the lake is Toliman Volcano. She actually has double craters, and the main volcano Atitlan Volcano is 3537 meters high. Beyond the volcano, the mountain descends all the way to the plain facing the Pacific Ocean.

Lake Attideran is one of the main volcanic coffee areas in Guatemala. The soil near the lake is fertile and suitable for growing coffee. Because most of the coffee is planted all the way up the steep hillsides along the lake, this terrain is not conducive to soil and water conservation. Therefore, farmers often have a hard time thinking about how to keep enough water content in the land, while the early deforestation and local land burning farming methods have caused great persecution to the environment. The steep terrain is not easy to retain water. Although Lake Attilan is very large, it cannot be used by pumping water from the lake. Fortunately, there are 19 very important private protected areas (Private Nature Reserves) around the lake, covering 6000 hectares of primeval forest and coffee manor. Almost all of them grow coffee under shade, so that the natural environment of Lake Attilan is greatly protected. They use the method of protecting primitive forests to enrich water resources. And the use of artificial construction method, the establishment of soil and water conservation and even hydropower, all these efforts have achieved great results, there are many rare animals and more than 90 species of birds, as long as you walk into the lakeside primeval forest can be easily observed.

Lake Attilan is one of the four volcanic coffee producing areas in Guatemala. The soil around the lake is very fertile. 1950 lot should be one of the highest farms in the region, mostly extending from the slope to the edge of Lake Attilan. The lake is still 1500 meters above sea level. It is also the largest and most famous high-altitude volcanic lake in Guatemala.
