Finca Santa Lucia
In 2014, Erwin Jose Mierisch launched a project to grow Gesha, Santa Lucia Farm, shipped directly from Panama, in the Comayagua province of Bonito, Rio de Janeiro, in the village of Siguatepeque. The farm is located in masl, 1650-1800, and the Gesha plantation happens to be 1567masl above sea level. Production area 7.5 mzns
There are 25 mzns in total farm area, including Gesha, Yellow Paca, pira, sanramon, Orange Bourbon,Red Catuai, sl28 and Laurina.
The project has been in the Mierisch family since five years ago and is led by Eleane Mierisch. She and all her teams worked hard and did their best to overcome all recent difficulties and they repeated their excellent work in Nicaragua and achieved great results. Attention to detail is their way to success. This is the way they work, improving the quality of coffee, from seeds to cups, the best harvest, quality control during drying, all of which are part of the details to get the best quality results.
Finca Santa Lucia has unique soil and microclimate. No wonder Honduras has good coffee and huge market potential.
