Porvenir
The second generation of coffee growers in his family. In 1948, his parents came to Palestine from Kaisedonia because of violence. There were not so many people making coffee at that time.
Louis Orlando started producing specialty coffee 10 years ago, and his idea was to make different kinds of coffee. He started the project with 2 hectares of Castillo and then planted Tabi and Gesha. Louis explained that he had some problems with the Gesha variety because it was a very difficult and subtle variety from the beginning, and at the beginning, he needed support from other friends who used organic methods to grow coffee, and his crop began to improve gradually. Louis recognized the importance of having the right tools for continuous evaluation and improvement, which prompted him to create a coffee grower association through this project to obtain all the necessary equipment to set up a coffee lab. and continuously improve and receive continuous training with trained people.
One of the biggest challenges in producing high-quality coffee is to develop a sense of doing the right thing and motivate his colleagues to always provide the best results.
