Kenya's AA is often considered one of the brightest boutique coffee beans in the world, which is, of course, controversial between cup testers and daily boutique coffee lovers. What is certain, however, is that Kenya's AA is one of the best coffee beans known and one of the favorites of coffee connoisseurs. The largest and best coffee beans from Kenya are Kenyan AA and cowpeas. Kenya's AB is also often rated high and provides acceptable alternatives when AA is not available.

Growing above 6600 feet above sea level, AA in Kenya is considered to be one of the best coffee beans in the world. High altitude means that beans grow more slowly than at lower altitudes, providing more nutrients and giving them more time to develop their own flavor and maturity.

The coffee beans produced in Kenya have a complete mellow thickness and rich, strong taste, with a very pleasant sour taste. The aroma also has floral notes, a wine finish and citrus and berry colors.

Grade

The largest screen size in the Kenyan coffee grading system is E (elephant), followed by PB (Peaberry) and AA, which means that raw coffee beans are only slightly more than 1/4 inches in diameter. AA is the most common on the market, and others can sometimes be found, but it doesn't seriously affect the taste.

Kenya AA specification: Screen 21: retained for 18 days; diameter 7.2mm.

The elevation of the Kenyan coffee farm makes it strictly high-growing (SHG) / strict hard beans (SHB)-the best.

Baking degree

The best Kenyan AA coffee is usually moderately roasted to give the coffee its natural brightness. Roasting it deeper can lead to the loss of the nuances that make the bean so good, but for those who prefer coffee with a more "coffee" flavor, this can be done.

Like any single-source Arabica coffee, freshly roasted coffee works better than stale coffee that may have been in distribution warehouses and shelves for months. When buying brands from large retailers such as Amazon and Starbucks, it is important to make sure that coffee is labeled freshly roasted and clearly explain what this means-some companies have packaged it months ago with the label "freshly baked in packaging" when possible.

In front street coffee, old beans are not allowed to happen, all coffee beans are freshly roasted, unless the guest buys them home and keeps them for a long time without brewing.
