The preliminary design of the coffee shop is the repeated placement of a series of recycled steel bars, which are painted black and put together into a grid. This modular system can easily rearrange the structure of the coffee shop. Various elements can be inserted into the overall lattice structure, such as green boxes, bookshelves, and the layout of lights in the building. Most of the wooden boxes placed in the scheme are planted with plants with air purification function and easy maintenance, such as hanging baskets, kidney ferns and Pueraria lobata. Over time, plants will continue to grow along the structural framework, eventually forming a natural green blanket that wraps the steel structure.
