Beijing, December 2 (Xinhua) according to China Rural Voice China, data show that tea has dominated the beverages sold through rural Taobao service stations across the country so far this year, winning by an overwhelming majority of 91.09%. Coffee currently accounts for only 8.76% of the market share. Interestingly, however, coffee consumption has grown by an average of about 52% a month in the past three months, with growth of more than 100% in Fujian, Hebei, Jiangsu, Guizhou and Gansu provinces.

In the face of such a rapid growth rate, how broad is the prospect of the rural coffee consumption market in the future? How can rural entrepreneurs who are interested in opening up the coffee market enlarge the coffee industry? Wang Zhu, a special commentator for China Village Voice, said:

Wang Zhu: with the continuous development of the market economy, the living standards of rural people are getting higher and higher, and the characteristics of urbanization of life are very prominent. High-rise buildings have been built in villages in many places, and urban features have been shown in streets and residential areas. In some economically developed coastal areas, the construction of rural towns and the lives of residents are now very different from those in cities. It can be said that the accelerated construction and urbanization of rural towns provide a good basis for the development of coffee consumption and considerable space for follow-up development.

Recently, an interesting survey shows that in the past three months, rural coffee consumption has grown by an average of about 52% a month, with a growth rate of more than 100% in Fujian, Hebei, Jiangsu, Guizhou and Gansu provinces. Of course, the coffee here not only refers to drinks, but also includes coffee utensils, coffee beans, instant coffee, coffee drinks, coffee companions and so on.

What happened in the last three months? For most provinces, instant coffee grew the fastest in July, with nearly 20, 000 RMB of the most expensive coffee machines sold, and some villages even sold coin-operated coffee machines, data experts said.

According to Zhu Xiaokun, a rural Taobao partner in Danzhuang Village, Jianhu County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, who sold coin-operated coffee machines, he used to be an office worker in Shanghai. The building where the company is located has coin-operated coffee machines, coffee, milk tea, and fruit juices. As soon as his service station opened on November 8, he searched for similar equipment on the Internet and promoted it to the countryside. Unexpectedly, all the coffee machines with a price of more than 2,000 were returned in just seven days.

Look at the coffee machine so easy to sell, it shows that the coffee market in the countryside is still very large, and finally share with you how to set up a coffee shop of your own.

The first is the location:

The cafe is a place that pays more attention to taste, tranquility, elegance and warm and romantic atmosphere, and it is also an important place for young people to fall in love and spend leisure. Can be in the town facing the street but more quiet place, or on one side facing the street, on the other hand facing the river, not only to highlight the rural characteristics, but also pay attention to environmental coordination, give people a kind of beautiful enjoyment.

The second is fund-raising:

About 10000 yuan will be fine. 5000 yuan for decoration and 5000 yuan for working capital, mainly for coffee, drinks, cigarettes and so on.

Third, the employment of staff:

2 to 3 people. One of them is a coffee and wine dispenser, who is part-time cashier and responsible for the management of the cafe. 2 waitresses, 1 person when business is weak, part-time health work.

Finally, the mode of operation:

In operation, we should aim at the market, pay attention to fashion, flexibility and diversity. Such as custom-made birthday cake for guests, flowers for guests, and so on. We should often launch special projects, such as weekends, Valentine's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and so on. At the same time, it is necessary to increase publicity to attract young people in the city. Because city people are tired of city life, it will be more chic than city cafes to taste the country style and country charm of open-air cafes in the countryside.
