The Soho neighborhood in Manhattan is probably the representative impression of the fashion and prosperity of New York. Surrounded by boutique shops, there is also another kind of urban style hidden here. In the elegant and ancient buildings, the artistic atmosphere embedded in many art galleries is very charming. The MARCH É MAMAN concept store is located in this famous beautiful neighborhood, extending from New York's famous cafe / restaurant MAMAN. MAMAN was founded by three founders from different fields and backgrounds; Armand Arnal, head chef of La Chassagnette Michelin restaurant in southern France; Benjamin Sormonte, an entrepreneur in the catering industry; and Elisa Marshall, a baker and designer with his own brand. Starting from family cuisine in South France and North America, the trio have brought their childhood memories to New Yorkers, and since opening their first store in Soho in 2014, they have now opened branches in Tribeca, Meatpacking and Brooklyn, a sign of their popularity among locals.

MARCH É MAMAN, a concept store that just opened this summer, brings together the common love and preferences of the three founders. From design, style to diet, with the purpose of "enjoying and pursuing the beauty of life", it discusses aesthetics and taste; the lovely and comfortable space atmosphere shows the life philosophy of the three people. From Spring St. When the subway station came, standing outside the shop, I was deeply attracted by the French pastoral facade. Push open the retro and chic old wooden doors, the wooden floors and beams and columns exude a quaint European flavor; the clean white walls vaguely reveal the texture of bricks, and the traces of the years left over from the old buildings form beautiful stroke lines.

In a corner of the store, the lush and scattered planting workbench makes people feel as if they are in a small flower shop or grocery store in South France. If you take a closer look, you can see that in addition to potted plants, there are also small objects of life on display above. From stationery, canvas bags, coffee and tea drinks, scented candles to beauty care products, children's clothing, blankets, pillows, antique cutlery and furniture, and even combined with the attached kitchenette serving brunch, the aroma of coffee from Toby Estate, Australia, from MAMAN next door, the people-friendly market atmosphere is like walking into a lovely mini market.

In addition to selling a variety of life options, the store also offers MilkMade ice cream, a dessert you can't quit in summer, while outside the blue-gray door, there are West Elm furniture and seats, and the courtyard covered with light bulbs is a unique sitting space. The concept of such a space created by the three people comes from working with many small business brands. Although they only gather in a small space, they can give play to their different professions and tastes, so that MAMAN can creatively depict a richer picture of life and make visitors feel at home. As mentioned by the founder, working with Flower Girl, who is in charge of flowers, is like being in the garden, while Bastide provides natural perfumes, soaps and body products, Merci Bisous provides lovely supplies and clothing for children, and Jamini from India and Paris adds beautiful printed fabrics and textiles to the living room.

When I was tired of shopping, I walked into the coffee restaurant in the back, sat under the wall surrounded by shade planting, looked up at the white clouds sliding across the sky in the afternoon, or sipped a glass of cool wine on a summer night to recall the good impression of summer.
