Evaluation of the Smart Cup of plastic Coffee brewing: smart or stupid?

The clever coffee drip has got a lot of buzzing. Claims to be it offers the best dripping and French publishers, without any shortcomings.
Chocolate Coffee drop-add filter
Chocolate coffee dehydrator-insert coffee filter
Its core is very similar to a manual Melitta cone filter coffee maker, with several good additions:
A valve that opens when placed on a cup or thermos bottle and closes when you take it out.
The ability to control the time of soaking (unlike Melitta, where the liquid begins to flow immediately).
A lid that retains some heat during soaking.
A roller coaster puts a drip on it.

body
I like the taste that I can produce with a chocolate coffee drip. I'm not a huge fan of the French press (mainly because of my indigestion and instability), but I like coffee, which has a decent body and a higher particle-to-water ratio, rather than most dripping machines with filter paper. Some people use SwissGold Filter or Gold Filter to do this, but I find it too close to French Press for me, and I think there are too many problems. The smart coffee drip is perfect.
Clever Coffee Dripper is perfect in this respect and does not allow too much oil in the cup, which may be due to the absorption of the paper filter. You could use SwissGold or Friige Cone filters to make it closer to French Press, but I didn't try.
Smart coffee.-Hot water.
Pour hot water on the ground
I found that my favorite cup was too wide and my favorite water heater was too narrow to sit down correctly or activate the valve. I want to see a design in which the width of the ship is not important and the valve is controlled by a button or something. I know this may complicate the design / manufacture or increase the cost, but I am willing to pay an extra $10 for it.

Cover the floor with hot water
I used a clever coffee drip, using many variants, Tom mentioned from Sweet Maria on his website, just to see what I like. It turns out that I am a little lazy, my following method is very good, because it seems easier for me, so here is:
A little grinding on the fine grinding surface is about medium fine grinding, as shown in the Coffee Grinding Picture.
I don't weigh my coffee or water.
On the # 4 filter, I just eyeball, fill the coffee until the bottom is filled with about 1 stroke 3 way.
I poured into the water, stirred immediately, left an inch of space to bloom, and then put on the lid.
I rarely stir between the two, usually in about 3 minutes, and I put it all in the cup.
Chocolate Coffee-optional mixing
You can choose to stir when making chocolate.

Add chocolate to the brewing process.
The smart coffee is done.
Smart coffee-finished brewing!
Conclusion
Although it doesn't fit all my ships, it's big at $20. I would suggest you buy one now. You may find that you can find this information through a French publishing house, Melitta or a Didi machine; I know what I do
Advantages
The price is reasonable about $20.
It is very good to control the soaking time.
Use a # 4 or # 6 cone filter.
Great videos and written documents on how to use chocolate coffee drops.

Shortcoming
The design is not suitable for most of my coffee cups (the cup is too wide).
The design is not suitable for most of my hot water (the thermos are too narrow).
There is no insulation, which causes the coffee to be a little colder than I wanted, especially for a longer soaking time.
Drips and roller coasters slide too much because of smooth plastic. Some anti-skid materials will be a good supplement.
Smart coffee-the size of the cup
Not suitable for smart cups.

Professional baristas please follow the coffee workshop (Wechat official account cafe_style) French news agency offers a wealth of delicious coffee, but it has two disadvantages. The first one is sediment. In order to minimize sediment, I made a practice, do not pour all the coffee into the cup, do not drink the last few sips. But occasionally I forget that my last cup of coffee will be bitter.
