When you think of coffee-growing countries, what places do you immediately think of? For me, I think of Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia, Kenya and Guatemala. It was not until last year that China was considered a coffee producer, but China's coffee industry has been quietly and steadily growing for decades. Tea is still a more popular drink than coffee (the average Chinese drinks only three cups of coffee a year, while the average American drinks only 363 cups a year), which is partly related to the price-coffee is quite expensive in China. However, demand is rising, and a fierce battle is under way between local chain Luckin Coffee and coffee giant Starbucks for market share. Tim Horton of Canada and Costa Coffee, a British coffee shop chain, are also expanding their operations in China. This sentence from CBS News illustrates the competition among consumers in the industry: "there are now more than 6500 coffee shops in Shanghai, and it is an understatement to say that there is a coffee shop in every corner. On one street, Tracy found three next to each other. "

According to Wikipedia, almost all coffee in China is grown in Yunnan Province, where the beans come from. ManLao's people reached out to me and sent me some bags of tests. My only experience with Chinese coffee beans is a bit mundane, but it is obvious that these people are very proud of their work and care about their products, so I am absolutely willing to try their coffee. I usually try to test the coffee within 2-3 weeks of the barbecue date, but since the coffee comes all the way from China to me, my taste is a little out of the window.

Whole beans: beautiful little oval beans (definitely peaberries) with the smell of raisins.

Chemex: cashew nuts have a hint of sweetness. Good. Gentle and nutty.

French kettle: rich in texture with a hint of fruit (raisins, red grapes).

Brewed with V60 V60, V60, 3, and 25, this is a very interesting cup with a balanced taste and complex flavors of nectarine, butterscotch and sweet cream.

AeroPress: syrup that likes chocolate sauce. It smells a little soapy, but I want to know that it might be the problem with the cup I used-this is an older cup I own, and I noticed that it happened during other tastes I had made. I may need to throw out this cup.

Introduction: V60 cup is my favorite taste of delicious mixed taste. This is a very good surprise to introduce the possibility of Chinese coffee! Although I tasted this coffee more than a month after roasting, I don't think it was affected by it. If you can try something fresh, it might be better.

From the roaster: cocoa, musk, plum blossom, red apple, roasted cedar
