Cafes on Phuket

Last Updated: 2024/11/03, Located in southern Thailand, Phuket is 48 kilometers long and 21 kilometers wide, with an area of only 543 square kilometers. It is the largest island in Thailand, shaped like an oval pearl and a promised land of sunshine, blue sea and sandy beaches. The tropical bathing beach with beautiful scenery, the blue sky, the golden beach, the undulating waves and the little sails between the sea and the sky outline a charming picture.

Located in southern Thailand, Phuket is 48 kilometers long and 21 kilometers wide, with an area of only 543 square kilometers. It is the largest island in Thailand, shaped like an oval pearl and a promised land of sunshine, blue sea and sandy beaches. The tropical beach with beautiful scenery, the blue sky, the golden beach, the undulating waves, and the little sails between the sea and the sky show up from time to time, sketching charming pictures, which is a world-famous summer resort.

Phuket has its own province, and some Chinese and Portuguese-style buildings are preserved in the urban area, reminiscent of the island's long and interesting history. Kopaijie National Park (Khao Phra Thaeo National Park) is the only virgin forest left on Phuket; the Cape Laem Phrom Thep, located at the southernmost tip of Phuket, is an excellent place to enjoy the sunset; and two ethnic cultural performances a day in the Thai village enable visitors to learn more about the traditional culture of southern Thailand. Located in Krabi Province, Twin Phi Phi Islands, 20 kilometers southwest of Phuket, has ferry trips every day. There are not only beautiful beaches, green water and tropical jungle, but also cliffs cutting into the blue sky from the sea. Cliffs are the place to collect bird's nests, the best tonic of the body. The sea of Phang Nga Bay is covered with hundreds of limestone islands, some protruding from the water like sheep's horns, some like humps, some like jagged teeth, each with its own beauty. The Similans archipelago, far north of Phuket, is especially popular for scuba divers. Further south, there is Taru National Park (Tarutao National Park), which consists of 51 mountain-shaped islands.

Out of personal habit, I still don't forget to look for coffee.

Charon Seaside Guesthouse

You can have free instant coffee in the hotel. The poolside bar has a fully automatic Vila coffee machine, so it's nice to take a break in the water and have a cup of coffee or other drink:

Coral Island:

Boating on the sea, I was in a particularly good mood:

Immortal Peninsula:

When the tsunami hit on December 26, 2005, the towering waves more than ten meters high suddenly wiped out all the buildings on the island, leaving only a four-story hotel. After a few years, it is more beautiful than before.

Nova's beautiful Espresso machine:

The scenery all the way to Panyawan is exhilarating:

Thailand is a major producer of bird's nests, collecting bird's nests is very dangerous and is the patent of the local "aborigines". Since swallows usually build nests at a height of more than ten meters or even dozens of meters, people can only climb simple ladders tied to bamboo poles, hold small shovels and collect them in dim light. it is difficult to count the number of people who accidentally fell, injured, maimed or even killed.

Bird's nest on the cliff:

Imperial Island:

In Padang, the busiest area of Phuket, bars, nightclubs and tourist shops are one after another full of tourists, but the author only sees two Starbucks, two DQ (Dairy Queen), one Hard Rock Cafe, one coffee club (Coffee Club), and one Haagen-Dazs.

HARD ROCK Cafe:

Coffee Club (Coffee Club)

Coffee bar (Cafe 8):

Starbucks (Starbucks):

There are five cafes in the airport lounge, but only two are open later in the night. The coffee in the airport seems to be expensive all over the world. A cup of Espresso here costs 90 baht, which is much more expensive than the one outside.

The location of this store is the best, business is naturally good, using Saceo's Espresso machine, the appearance is very beautiful:

Coffee World (Coffe World) is closed:

Bhuket Cafe also has a good location, using Illy coffee beans, but the coffee machine is a little out of date. The freshly baked bread and snacks attract many guests. Another cafe that uses Lavazza coffee beans is already closed, and the door can't even be seen, only the Lavazza poster next to the door.

Due to the short stay in Phuket, all I got was a superficial impression, and there was no opportunity to learn more about the popularity of it. Phuket is a paradise for holidaymakers, coming here to harvest the sunshine, sand and the beautiful mood of rafting on the sea; although it is not difficult to drink coffee in Phuket, cafes seem to be few or even dispensable; coffee seems to be just like that in life.
